    BigBear.ai is seeking a Test Engineer to play a pivotal role in the testing and validation of cutting-edge Computer Network Operations (CNO) tools.     What you will do

     

    + Lead the charge in designing and executing test strategies for complex, mission-critical web applications.

    + Own the entire testing lifecycle from planning and execution to reporting and release validation.

    + Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define requirements, assess risks, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

    + Create and maintain detailed documentation including test plans, test cases, bug reports, and release notes.

    + Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance testing processes, tools, and automation frameworks.

    + Serve as a quality advocate, ensuring that every release meets the highest standards of reliability and performance.

     

    What you need to have

     

    + Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Required to support this mission-critical program.

    + Minimum of 10 years or professional experience with 5 years of experience in web application and software system testing.

    + Strong ability to lead testing efforts and take full ownership of quality assurance processes.

    + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.

    + Proven experience designing, executing, and overseeing software testing in Agile environments.

    + Proficiency with issue tracking tools such as JIRA, Trac, or Redmine.

    + Strong documentation skills—able to clearly articulate test plans, procedures, and results.

    + Ability to work independently, explore solutions, and contribute meaningfully in a team setting.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.(Four additional years of test engineering experience may be substituted for a degree.)
