As a **Security Professional - Unarmed Hospital Patrol** in **Durham, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment for all. Your presence will be visible to support a secure atmosphere while providing outstanding customer service and communication to staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

+ Monitor for and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance needs while on patrol.

+ Assist healthcare staff, visitors, and/or patients with directions and information as needed.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or observations during the shift.

+ Collaborate with Allied Universal management and healthcare staff to address security-related concerns and support the overall environment of care.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
