As a **Security Officer - Tech/Media Entry Screener** in **Manassas, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech-focused location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and controlling access points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves interacting with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service, and utilizing technology such as computers or tablets. What You'll Do:

+ Greet and screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment.

+ Follow site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the client.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and/or clients regarding access protocols and security-related matters.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verifying identification and credentials as required by location protocols.

+ Assist with emergency response activities as directed, following established processes and procedures.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
