    Building Services 32BJ Benefit Funds (“the Funds”) is the umbrella organization responsible for administering Health, Pension, Retirement Savings, Training, and Legal Services benefits to over 100,000 SEIU 32BJ members.     The Funds oversees and manages $9 billion of dollars in assets, which are made up of many, varied and complex funds.     Job Summary:

    The 32BJ Health Fund maintains large data platforms, in a hybrid environment, that are continuously evolving with new technology and capabilities. The Health Fund Data Platform consists of a large on-prem Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Cloud, and Tableau Cloud hosted data environments that are used for analytics, data science, and reporting purposes. Many supporting tools and technologies are deployed with these data environments including Dynamics CRM and an online Member Portal.

     

    As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key and collaborative role in the delivery of powerful data-driven products that support 32BJ Health Fund's mission of providing high-quality and low-cost healthcare to its union members. You will work in a face-paced environment and will be responsible for supporting teams, planning and delivering key features of our enterprise data platforms and technology.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Assist the Process & Quality Engineering Manager in monitoring and tracking project progress.

    + Track and manage updates on project activities and milestone status, issues and issue logs, and defects

    + Support Scrum Master(s) and Project Manager(s) in planning for capacity and project implementation phases of cross-organizational development teams.

    + Collaborate with business owners to create user stories for development teams and prioritize backlogs.

    + Participate in the IT teams Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and grooming,

    + Assist in preparing key status reports for relevant projects.

    + Build strong working relationships with vendors, business stakeholders, IT and Analytics teams.

    + Monitor and track work in Azure DevOps & other Project Management tools simultaneously.

    + Perform quality reviews & user acceptance testing as needed.

    + Provide operational support to teams for ad hoc projects, as needed, to ensure project deliverable are met.

    + Support the implementation and maintenance of Data Governance policy requirements and standards for data and systems within your domain.

    + Take and distribute meeting minutes: follow up on relevant action items.

    + Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

    Qualifications (Competencies):

    + 2+ years of Technical Project Coordination work in a related industry.

    + Prior experience working with technology & data projects, preferably with bit data technology.

    + Demonstrated ability to meet commitments, build consensus, and negotiate resolutions.

    + Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication with both technical and business audiences.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Visio.

    + Experience using software project management tools such as Azure DevOps and Asana.

    + Proficiency with using dashboard/visualization tools: Azure DevOps Dashboards, Tableau, QlikView, or Power Bl.

    + Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Platform is preferred.

    Soft Skills (Interpersonal Skills):

    + Detail oriented with excellent organizational, motivation, influence, analytics thinking, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to plan and take initiatives to accomplish objectives in a timely fashion.

    + Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

    + Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, project team members, supervisors, and employees from departments across the organization.

    + Ability to escalate clearly, timely, and effectively.

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Information Technology preferred.
