    Caring Transitions (Northern IL) is looking for a Move Team member to join our team. The Senior Move Manager is responsible for 1) packing items safely and securely in homes for moving, 2) unpacking items in new dwelling and 3) settling a home for senior so they can start living in the home on day 1 of entry.

     

    He/she will be self-motivated and possesses strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport with clients and team members. The overall goal of this position is to provide excellent client service in packing, unpacking and resettling.

     

    This is a GREAT 2nd career! It also works well for those transitioning back into the workforce after some time away. Our team is diverse from former executives, educators, operations and retail experienced employees. All of us are motivated to help make seniors life a little easier.

    Responsibilities:

    + Packing household goods in boxes following best in class practices.

    + Labeling boxes clearly with critical move details.

    + Unpacking household goods in boxes following best in class practices.

    + Assist Senior Move Manager in resettling services- setting household goods up to feel like a home

    + Contribute to a positive team culture

    Requirements:

    + Physically can lift 25lb or less items, work on feet for 4-8 hours a day

    + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

    + Patience in communicating with seniors

    + Must have reliable transportation as locations vary weekly.

    Experiences:

    + We are open to a variety of backgrounds- this role has been filled by former teachers, accountants, sales managers, high school graduates, etc.

     

    This role is part-time.

     

    Salary: $14-17/hr
