Caring Transitions (Northern IL) is looking for a Senior Move Manager to join our team. The Senior Move Manager is responsible for 1) developing and guiding senior (60+) clients through a move process and 2) collaborating effectively with service providers and team members to coordinate logistics and 3) execute moves with excellence in service & communication.

He/she will be self-motivated and possesses strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport with clients and team members. The overall goal of this position is to lead exemplary client service through a move.

Responsibilities:

+ Develop a comprehensive move plan for client.

+ Create customized floor plans for the new space to help clients visualize where their belongings will fit.

+ Coordinate professional packing, shipping, and storage of belongings.

+ Assist clients in sorting through and organizing decades of belongings.

+ Provide emotional support throughout the move process.

+ Oversee unpacking, and the setting up of the new home.

Requirements:

+ Minimum 2 years' experience client services

+ Physically can lift 25lb or less items, work on feet for 4-6 hours a day

+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

+ Strong organizational and time management skills

+ Patience in communicating with seniors

+ Computer skills- email, design software (can learn on job)

+ Must have reliable transportation as locations vary weekly.

Experiences:

+ We are open to a variety of backgrounds- move management, retail, container store service provider, etc.

This role is part-time and has the potential to move to full-time

Salary: $19-23/hr
