Job Title: Dispensing Technician

Job Description

As a Dispensing Technician, you will play a vital role in the pharmacy by filling daily prescription orders, including punch cards, bulk items, OTCs, compounding, cassettes, and prepacks. You will also be responsible for stocking and restocking medication inventory, printing daily orders for the pharmacy, and preparing labels and delivery sheets.

Responsibilities

+ Fill daily prescription orders accurately and efficiently.

+ Manage and maintain medication inventory, ensuring stock levels are adequate.

+ Print and organize daily orders, labels, and delivery sheets for the pharmacy.

+ Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations.

Essential Skills

+ Pharmacy technician certification preferred but not required.

+ At least 6 months of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred but not required.

+ Experience in a retail pharmacy setting is beneficial.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Willingness to train individuals with fulfillment experience

+ Experience with prescription refill, packaging, and fulfillment is advantageous.

+ Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not required.

Work Environment

This role is based in a closed-door pharmacy environment, where you will work with a large inventory of medications. The facility is equipped with modern and clean equipment, offering a laid-back and supportive work atmosphere. Shifts available include 6:30am - 3:00pm, 10:30am - 7:00pm, and 2:30pm - 11:00pm. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work all three shifts as needed, typically picking up an off-shift once or twice a week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgeville, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
