    Job Description

    The Engineering Technician II will be responsible for assembling and adjusting mechanical and opto-mechanical systems, including high precision optical and mechanical components. The role involves collaboration with engineering teams, as some tasks will include performing lower-level engineering work on PCBs.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble and adjust mechanical/opto-mechanical systems.

    + Collaborate with engineering teams to perform lower-level engineering work on PCBs.

    + Ensure precision in handling high precision optical/mechanical components.

    + Draft and design using AutoCAD.

    + Adhere to AS9100 standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with AutoCAD, drafting, and design.

    + Knowledge of AS9100 standards.

    + Experience in electro-mechanics or optoelectronics.

    + Proficiency in working with PCBs, including 18-layer boards, soldering, and fiber splicing.

    + Mechanical and blueprint understanding.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + 2+ years of experience with SMT and/or PCBA assembly equipment and processes.

    + 4+ years of experience with SMT equipment operation in a production setting.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Hawthorne, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62000.00/yr.

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Hawthorne,CA.
