    Job Title: Manufacturing Associate IJob Description

     

    We are seeking a Manufacturing Associate I to participate in cGMP activities within our cGMP production facility. The Associate will leverage their training and knowledge of biopharmaceutical manufacturing to execute operations effectively in a cGMP environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Dispense raw materials and manage the assembly and movement of raw materials and equipment into staging or production areas.

    + Prepare media and buffers, and sterilize parts and assemblies.

    + Stock materials and supplies as needed.

    + Execute unit operations as described in standard operating procedures, manufacturing batch records, and cGMP guidelines.

    + Assist in the cleaning of the facility as directed by the Support Lead.

    + Perform bioprocess operations including buffer preparation, filtration, and harvest.

    + Setup, maintain, and use cGMP equipment according to standard operating procedures and manufacturing batch records.

    Essential Skills

    + GMP experience

    + Familiarity with process automation and business quality systems and software

    + Understanding of biotechnology industry and biopharmaceutical manufacturing

    + 0-2 years of related experience

    + Good organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal

    + Ability to prioritize competing tasks

    + Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others

    + Ability to lift at least 20kg

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + A degree in a Life Sciences or a technical program, or a High School Diploma

    + Familiarity with cleanroom and aseptic techniques

    + Experience in sanitization processes

    + Experience with batch record keeping

    + Ability to handle and work with hazardous materials and chemicals per standard operating procedures and OSHA guidelines

    Work Environment

    The work environment requires the ability to work weekends, off-shifts, and overtime as necessary. Applicants must be willing and able to work reliably on a flexible schedule, Monday through Friday and some weekends, to meet project demands. The role involves wearing hospital scrubs, gloves, safety glasses/goggles, coveralls, and safety toe footwear with shoe covers multiple times per shift. The environment is dynamic and highly collaborative, requiring interaction with peers and support groups.

    This is a Contract position based out of Bothell, WA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.50 - $28.50/hr.
