Maintenance/Shipping & Receiving Tech
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance/Shipping & Receiving professional who will be responsible for day-to-day operations related to shipping and receiving as well as building maintenance.
Responsibilities:
+ Working knowledge of mail processes such as postage machine, FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, etc.
+ Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
+ Collaborate and communicate with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in shipments.
+ Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
+ Maintain accurate logs of daily moves, scan inventory, and count materials accurately.
+ Direct inquiries to the appropriate departments in a timely manner.
+ Demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills.
+ Exhibit well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Computer literacy, specifically MS Word and Excel for Windows.
+ Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.
+ Maintain and operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, monitoring the building automation system.
+ Perform general maintenance (e.g., change light bulbs, maintain exterior) and manual repairs as needed.
+ Manage preventive maintenance contracts (including monitoring and coordinating PM schedules) for HVAC, alarms, and other facility equipment; coordinate pest control services.
+ Coordinate cleaning needs with service providers and trash collection.
+ Respond to emergencies, serving as primary contact for facility-related issues (including fire alarms, HVAC alarms, security alarms), including after-hours work.
+ Review and understand equipment operation, safety, security, and other systems.
+ Perform facility inspections, prepare and submit reports on building conditions, and recommend actions.
+ Maintain compliance with City, County, and State ordinances and codes.
+ Support after-hours building needs and activities as required.
+ Maintain plans for fire evacuation, disaster response, and up-to-date records for inspections, warranties, maintenance, and scheduled servicing of key assets.
+ Ensure office and facility supplies are maintained for optimal operations.
+ Provide logistical support for meetings and events, including room setup, cleanup coordination, and HVAC needs.
+ Work with internal audit to complete facilities audits for ISO Certification.
Requirements:
+ HS diploma or equivalent.
+ At least two years of related experience in facilities maintenance, shipping, and receiving.
+ Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or relevant field is a plus.
**Shift:** 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
**Pay Details:** $25.00 per hour
