ZF Active Safety and Electronics US, LLC has job openings (multiple) for the position of **Senior Supply Chain Specialist** based out of its location in Farmington Hills, MI.
Job Duties: Assess and identify data requirements for supply chain and Inventory optimization projects from relevant sources such as SAP, QAD and manual excel data. Establish processes for automated or manual data input, coordinating with relevant tools and setting timelines. Oversee and ensure the quality of the imported/exported data. Maintain existing data imports: Monitor and ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of current data sets like material costs, bill of materials, future material receipts, material deliveries and customer shipments extracted using automated tools such as RPA and AAP pipelines, for supply chain KPI dashboards. Take remedial actions by reaching out to development teams to re-extract data when automatic data sets are incorrect. Implement updates and modifications to data sets in response to evolving project requirements. Oversee the quality and performance of supply chain/material PowerBI dashboards, ensuring they meet established standards and fulfill stakeholder expectations. Organize and lead meetings to define and monitor actions and requirements including IPR’s (Inventory performance Reviews). Monitor and track project timelines and progress on weekly basis, ensuring that all activities are completed as scheduled. Write and optimize python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis whenever needed. Develop, write, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to facilitate cross-skilling and provide end-user training. Analyze large excel datasets and extract actionable insights. Validate large data sets using strategies such as pivoting/summation and comparing with results of other independent data sets. Improve data quality by researching the correct data for the most influential values. A hybrid (in-office and telecommute) work schedule is available.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or closely related field, plus 5 years of experience with Tier 1 electronics automotive safety products in a global function including inventory, sales, warehousing and purchasing, and demonstrated experience with: Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), Braking, Safety Systems, and Passive Systems; SAP warehouse and inventory modules at an electronic production plant with surface mount lines; Tier 1 Customers including BMW, Stellantis, GM, and Renault-Nissan; Electronics logistics, including BOMs; Electronics, Electro-mechanicals, Chemicals, and Castings; Logistic digitalization projects with global rollouts with cross-functional teams; Logistics modules of SAP, including versions ES9, OR9, PRD and LHE; QAD manufacturing, including versions 10.253.237.77 and 179.19.93.212; MARA, MARC, RESB, LQUA, PLAF, MBEW MDKP, EKKO, and EKPO, including technical data fields and extraction; SMT and Electronics manufacturing in ERP systems, including Raw, WIP and FGs; Metric ITR; Business automation using software robots and Microsoft Advanced Analytical Platform; Strategy development for large datasets (>1 million data points); SQL server, Python, PowerBI and MiniTab; Digitalization Data Hub; and LRP process and cross divisional input data feeds for logistics planning.
