    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Civil CAD Technician to join our engineering team. This role involves working closely with Civil Project Engineers and Project Managers on drafting and design activities related to water distribution and wastewater collection systems. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in preparing construction drawings and supporting various engineering needs.

    Responsibilities

    + Work collaboratively with Civil Project Engineers and Project Managers on drafting and design activities for water distribution and wastewater collection systems.

    + Prepare water and wastewater construction drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

    + Assist with quantity take-offs and GIS figure development.

    + Prepare report figures for projects and support other related engineering and design needs as they arise.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5+ years of professional experience with Civil 3D in drafting/designing civil construction plans.

    + Proficiency in using AutoCAD for drafting and designing civil construction plans.

    + Experience in drafting/designing underground pipe networks using Civil 3D and AutoCAD, with a background in water resources, transportation, or site development.

    + Proficiency in Civil design, grading, and water & wastewater treatment.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Proficient in creating pipe networks, alignments, plans, and profiles using Civil 3D.

    Work Environment

    The office environment is laid-back yet can be deadline-intensive at times. The standard workweek is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Alternatively, you can work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The average week consists of 40-45 hours.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
