We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist/Administrative Assistant to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. This role will involve managing various human resources functions including employee relations, benefits administration, payroll assistance and onboarding processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and a commitment to fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer onboarding procedures to ensure new hires are welcomed and equipped to excel in their roles.

• Oversee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and communication with employees.

• Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining compliance with regulations.

• Support HR administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records and managing documentation.

• Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, and training sessions to ensure smooth operations.

• Utilize HRIS systems to maintain data integrity and streamline HR processes.

• Assist in creating and implementing HR policies and procedures to align with organizational goals.

• Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR-related inquiries and issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations and HR administration.

• Familiarity with onboarding processes and the ability to create a welcoming experience for new employees.

• Knowledge of benefits administration and payroll procedures.

• Proficiency in HRIS systems and other relevant HR tools.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in administrative responsibilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage employee interactions effectively.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
