Description

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator with hands-on experience managing international import and export operations. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of global shipping, customs regulations, and end-to-end supply chain coordination.

Responsibilities:

+ Coordinate international shipments, ensuring compliance with all import/export documentation and regulatory requirements.

+ Liaise with customs brokers, carriers, and freight forwarders to track shipments, resolve delays, and guarantee timely deliveries.

+ Prepare and review shipping documentation, such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, and export declarations.

+ Oversee the scheduling of inbound and outbound shipments and manage logistics routing to minimize costs and optimize delivery timelines.

+ Communicate proactively with vendors and internal teams regarding shipment status, inventory levels, and problem resolution.

+ Maintain accurate records of shipping activities and oversee inventory reconciliation.

+ Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance international logistics efficiency.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Prior experience in logistics coordination with a strong focus on international import/export processes.

+ Knowledge of global customs regulations, international freight programs, and shipping compliance standards.

+ Proficiency with shipment tracking systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and logistics management software.

+ Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

+ Ability to troubleshoot shipment issues and develop solutions in real time.

+ Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
