    About the State Park Inns:

    The Indiana State Park Inns are one of the oldest state parks lodging systems in the country. We proudly operate seven unique and beautiful facilities throughout our great state of Indiana that offer a unique experience for guests to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature and make memories naturally!

     

    The historic Potawatomi Inn, located within Pokagon State Park, sits along the shore of one of Indiana’s largest lakes, Lake James, in Angola, Indiana. The inn features 126 guest rooms, 12 cabins, two onsite restaurants (Lakeview Restaurant and the Courtyard Café), an indoor pool, and 10,000 square feet of banquet/conference space.

    Role Overview:

    The Operations Manager will work in every department of a hotel mastering the skills necessary to lead each department.

    Salary Statement:

    The salary for this position traditionally starts at $47,320.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.

    Job Duties:

    + Work in a fast-paced environment alongside some of the best General Mangers in the hospitality industry

    + Ensure and provide excellent customer service throughout the hotel and be the lead point of contact for all customer needs

    + Provide hands-on support for all operational tasks

    + Oversee the overall safety, security, supervision, training, monitoring, and scheduling for all Team Members

    + Oversee and guide all departments in the overall appearance of the property

    + Ensure hotel compliance with company policies and procedures

    Job Requirements:

    The qualifications for this position would include customer focused job experience and/or college education. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, problem-solving skills, computer knowledge and be able to meet all training requirements in a timely manner.
