Description We are looking for a dedicated Loan Servicing Support Specialist to join our team in Meriden, Connecticut. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in loan processing and servicing, ensuring accurate records and providing excellent customer support. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate escrow payments for property taxes, insurance, and association fees to ensure timely and accurate processing.

• Process loan payments, advances, and adjustments while maintaining precise transaction records.

• Investigate and resolve issues related to misapplied or missing loan payments promptly.

• Perform general loan maintenance tasks, including modifications, extensions, and system updates as required.

• Address credit reporting errors and manage responses to disputes effectively.

• Review loan documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Communicate with customers to provide information, resolve inquiries, and deliver exceptional service.

• Collaborate with internal departments to streamline processes and maintain accurate loan servicing systems.

• Ensure all tasks are completed in adherence to confidentiality and compliance standards. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education in accounting, finance, or economics is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to handle data and reports effectively.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex loan servicing issues.

• Experience working in a compliance-focused and confidential environment.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
