    Description

    Payroll and HR Specialist

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Full-cycle Payroll Processing:

    + Process, multiple payrolls per week using paper timecards.

    + Manage payroll for multi-state employees, including both union and non-union.

    + Submit monthly union payroll reports (work with four unique unions).

    + Report and remit monthly and quarterly payroll taxes.

    + Fulfill certified/prevailing wage requirements and report to regulatory agencies, including L& I.

    + Set up and onboard new employees in payroll systems.

    + Administer weekly garnishments.

    + Maintain wage rates for all employees.

    + Research and provide additional payroll data to managers as requested.

    + Maintain and update payroll systems (Viewpoint – Spectrum).

    + Support annual W2 distribution.

    + Accounts Receivable Tasks:

    + Enter vendor invoices daily across multiple divisions.

    + Process daily cash applications.

    + Set up service jobs in internal systems.

    + Human Resources Admin:

    + Provide lite HR support and assist with employee-related documentation.

    + Address other projects and tasks as assigned.

    Required Experience and Skills:

    + Previous experience processing in-house payroll for construction/unions.

    + Familiarity with union contracts and certified payroll requirements.

    + Experience with HR administration strongly preferred.

    + Knowledge of Viewpoint – Spectrum or similar payroll platforms.

    + ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.

    Requirements
