Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
The role of a Quality Inspector focuses on the final inspection of circuit boards. The inspector will spend the majority of the day using a microscope to perform detailed inspections, ensuring that boards meet client specifications. This involves reviewing solder joints and PCB components for quality and conformity, completing necessary paperwork, and entering data related to inspection results. The position also requires reading drawings and blueprints, verifying parts, and documenting pass/fail against requirements.
Responsibilities
+ Inspect boards using a microscope to ensure they meet client specifications.
+ Read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
+ Review solder joints and PCB components for quality and conformity.
+ Complete paperwork and data entry related to inspection results.
+ Document pass/fail results against requirements.
+ Communicate issues promptly to Production when defects are found.
+ Participate in cross-training in vinyl inspection and receiving incoming products.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
+ Strong attention to detail and comfort working under a microscope.
+ Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
+ Clear communication skills with Production and Quality teams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ IPC experience, training, or certification is a plus.
+ Experience in quality and final inspection.
+ Familiarity with calipers and microscope inspection.

Work Environment
The position is based on a 1st shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM The work environment is collaborative, with a team of five inspectors
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
