Job Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing preventative maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. You will follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions effectively.
Responsibilities
+ Perform preventative maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
+ Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and manufacturer’s instructions to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
+ Balance maintenance efforts between 90% reactionary and 10% preventative to achieve a more proactive approach.
+ Operate and maintain a clean facility with 34 forming machines, case erectors, 15 ovens, and 1 large printing press.
+ Utilize 3 forming dies and 3 overhead cranes efficiently.
Essential Skills
+ Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
+ Ability to read and use a volt meter.
+ Experience with pneumatics and hydraulic repair.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting motors and reading schematics.
+ Competence in preventive maintenance and electrical troubleshooting.
+ Experience with 3-phase electrical systems and conveyor maintenance.

Work Environment
The role operates on a 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule, with hours from 6pm to 6am. Work in a paper plate and paper cup manufacturing setting with high-speed machines designed to cut and form products rapidly. The facility maintains a clean and efficient operation.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $66560.00/yr.
