Refrigeration Technician

Pay is up to $51/hr pending experience, certifications, and interview

Job Description:

+ As a Refrigeration Technician, you will maintain and repair the facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets by leveraging your commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills. Using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment, you will complete various jobs and support stores and store associates through the work order management system. You will also provide prompt responses to emergency maintenance calls, inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues, and complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain and repair facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.

+ Utilize the work order management system to receive and document repair Work Orders.

+ Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.

+ Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.

+ Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.

+ Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations by adhering to the HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.

+ Lift up to 75 pounds and work comfortably at heights, frequently moving up and down ladders.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in refrigeration and HVAC systems.

+ Strong troubleshooting skills.

+ EPA Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling.

+ 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in Large Scale Rack Refrigeration.

+ Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification.

+ Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.

This is a Permanent position based out of Panama City Beach, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54000.00 - $106000.00/yr.

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, level of job offer, qualifications and other job-related factors.

You will also receive PTO and/or PPTO that can be used for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other purposes. The amount you receive depends on your job classification and length of employment. It will meet or exceed the requirements of paid sick leave laws, where applicable.
