    Job Title: Warehouse Associate - Swing

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Warehouse Associate, where you will play a crucial role in our food and beverage distribution operations. This position requires experience in a temperature-controlled environment and proficiency in operating equipment such as electronic pallet jacks and forklifts. You will be responsible for picking orders, receiving and unloading inbound freight, and managing inventory.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate electronic pallet jacks in a fulfillment warehouse, handling both single and double pallets.

    + Pick orders using onboard POS computers, paper pick sheets, RF scan guns, and barcode sticker printers.

    + Receive and unload inbound freight, verify and inspect products, and forward information to the receiving clerk.

    + Conduct pallet breakdowns, restacking, restocking, palletizing, and staging.

    + Load outbound trailers efficiently and safely.

    + Assist in inventory management, including cycle counts and date coding.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in a temperature-controlled environment and food/beverage distribution.

    + Proficiency in forklift operation and riding electric pallet jack.

    + Experience in cold storage distribution with a tenure of 3-4+ years.

    + Skill in using RF scanners and order picking.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language.

    + Good judgment and ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.

    + Ability to work in a cold environment and withstand cold temperatures.

    + Physical capability to stand, sit, and walk throughout the day, and lift up to 100 pounds.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a cold storage distribution environment, where full clothing bibs are recommended due to very cold temperatures.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, OR.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
