As a Manager - Technical Services, you will oversee the day-to-day operations and activities of the technical service department. You will lead a team of technical service engineers & leads. You will serve as a technical expert on complex solutions design, development, and implementation requirements to address client system requirements. You will ensure the functionality and constraints of recommended solution/changes across multiple systems/platforms. You will often work in coordination with internal business partners including sales and business development, to identify new business opportunities or strategic partnerships that represent potential areas of growth.
Responsibilities:
+ Manages and analyzes the functionality and constraints of recommended solutions/changes across multiple systems/platforms/applications for client group
+ Monitors work to ensures compatibility, interoperability, stability, and usability of solution architecture
+ Requires broad and deep technical knowledge and experience across varying infrastructure requirements, development, design, and re-engineering
+ Provides technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement of company technical products, programs, and systems
+ Provides expertise for resolving technical problems, troubleshoots product and modifies product to customer requirements
+ Provide training to technical staff on processes, equipment, design and end-user engagement
+ Lead product development and life cycle management process to support new product introductions and life cycle management opportunities.
+ Perform internal audits, identify root causes and corrective actions.
+ Perform advanced customer service functions acting as a liaison between suppliers and key internal departments to maintain and improve customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree - Engineering discipline
+ Licenses/Certificates/Designations - IT industry networking certifications such as CCNA or CCDA; or CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D
+ 5+ years technical services experience
+ 5+ years required troubleshooting network security configurations and protocols and have experience with third-party control integration (AMX, Crestron, etc)
+ Network security concepts (802.1x, RADIUS, Security Certificate Management)
+ Possess a customer-centric mindset
+ Possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
+ Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to make decisions within the designated area of responsibility
+ CompTIA certifications such as Network+ and Security+ preferred
+ Ability to travel up to 25%
