The Role at a glance:

This new role will serve a duality role for our operation. We are looking to add an experienced, skilled Pantry/Event Supervisor to our Constellation team at Macquarie in new York, NY. As a Pantry/Event Supervisor , you will have the opportunity to ensure the success of events as well as ensure that we have well maintained pantries by working with a team of talented foodservice professionals.

+ Monday – Friday Role

+ 40-hour work week with 8-hour shifts (OT is possible)

+ Schedule would be 12p-8p but would adjust based on business.

What you'll be doing:

_Pantry Supervisor_

Responsibilities

+ Maintaining the flow of the Pantry Space

+ Working with the Pantry Team on elevating Customer Service

+ Creating an Inventory Protocol for Weekly/Monthly Procedures

+ Work with GM and Chef on creating a rotating snack and fruit schedule

+ Submit weekly orders to GM/EC for purchases for the Pantry Spaces

+ Have a monthly meeting with the GM and the Pantry Staff as a what’s going on style of meeting, question and answers, and open forum

_Event Supervisor_

Responsibilities

+ Run the Evening Events once handed off by the Director of Events

+ Close down the PM Events properly, making sure items are returned, room is setup for the next day, and all staff is out of the building

+ Walk through the spaces to make sure that all rooms are “show ready”

+ On down time, work the Director of Events on Signage for any events, for catering, etc for the next day, week, etc to stay ahead

+ Work directly with Director of Events/Catering on any projects that may be coming up

+ Meet with GM and Director of Events (and EC if available) on a weekly basis to go over the following week, any staffing issues, etc.

What we're looking for:

_Must-haves:_

+ At least two years’ experience in foodservice.

+ Excellent customer service skills.

+ Strong leadership skills.

+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

+ At least one year of experience in a supervisory role.

Compensation Range

$32-$34 an hour
