Position: General Production Worker
Job Responsibilities:
+ Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble medical device components.
+ Participate in a structured training program to learn machine operation.
+ Work alongside a mentor to build skills and confidence.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
+ Follow all safety and quality standards.
Training Program:
+ One-week classroom training on industrial sewing machines.
+ Hands-on production floor training with a mentor.
+ Learn to set up sewing machines with correct thread.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
+ Sit for extended periods while operating sewing machines.
+ Report any machine issues to maintenance and ensure products meet quality standards.
Shift Schedule & Pay:
+ **1st Shift:** 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | **$17/hr**
+ **2nd Shift:** 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM | **$18/hr** _(Permanent positions include shift differential.)_
Additional Requirements:
+ No acrylic or permanent nails; no jewelry (plain wedding bands allowed).
+ Permanent piercings require wearing a mask.
+ No lotions or creams on the production floor.
+ Clear plastic bottles with locking lids must be approved (available for purchase at $10).
Work Environment:
+ Clean, GMP-compliant facility.
+ Hair and beard nets required.
+ Not climate-controlled; fans provided for comfort.

+ Aprender a configurar las máquinas de coser con el hilo correcto.
+ Mantener un entorno limpio y seguro.
+ Permanecer sentado/a por períodos prolongados mientras opera las máquinas.
+ Reportar cualquier problema con las máquinas al equipo de mantenimiento y asegurar que los productos cumplan con los estándares de calidad.
Horario y pago:
+ **Primer turno:** 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | $17/hora
+ **Segundo turno:** 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM | $18/hora (Las posiciones permanentes incluyen diferencial por turno).
Requisitos adicionales:
+ No se permiten uñas acrílicas ni permanentes; no usar joyería (se permiten anillos de boda simples).
+ Las perforaciones permanentes requieren el uso de mascarilla.
+ No se permite el uso de lociones o cremas en el área de producción.
+ Botellas plásticas transparentes con tapa de seguridad deben ser aprobadas (disponibles para compra por $10).
Entorno laboral:
+ Instalación limpia y conforme a GMP.
+ Se requiere el uso de redes para cabello y barba.
+ No está climatizado; se proporcionan ventiladores para comodidad.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Charles, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
