    Job Title: Field Technician

    Job Description

    As a Catalyst Technician (Tech B), you will be responsible for conducting day-to-day activities within client facilities, ensuring both quality and safety standards are met. You will work in environments that require both inert and non-inert confined space entries, contributing to project goals while maintaining professionalism and adherence to company policies.

    Responsibilities

    + Participate as a team member in all rescue operations.

    + Work in immediately dangerous to life and health (IDLH) confined space entry conditions.

    + Operate and maintain all company-owned or rented vehicles professionally.

    + Maintain a clean environment and report unusual findings in vessels, such as fused catalyst or hot spots.

    + Unload and load tubular vessels and adhere to all Quality Assurance and Quality Control requirements.

    + Load catalyst beds and assist with the cleaning and correct loading of equipment and trailers.

    + Support Supervisors by keeping work areas clear and free of obstructions.

    + Learn the proper function and usage of Life Support equipment, focusing on safety and future growth.

    + Wear Life Support equipment during non-inert confined space entries to gain experience in its usage and safety.

    + Operate retrieval devices and multi-gas portable detectors.

    + Monitor surroundings and dangers associated with entering confined spaces.

    + Follow all Company Quality Control/Quality Assurance procedures and processes.

    + Perform confined space entries (non-inert) while maintaining poise and focus under time constraints and adverse conditions.

    + Attend and complete required trainings as specified by the Company and client.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in installation and mechanical tasks.

    + Ability to handle general labor and installation of devices.

    + Proficiency in cleaning refinery exhaust and using hand tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Field Tech experience.

    + Mechanical and installation expertise.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in various oil/gas refineries across locations such as Alaska, California, and Washington state. The job involves assisting with the cleaning and reapplication of equipment within industrial environments, adhering to rigorous safety standards.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Long Beach, CA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

     

    Company benefits will be provided at time of offer to candidates that can travel

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Long Beach,CA.
