    Job Title: QA Cleanroom Tech

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated QA Cleanroom Technician to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. This role is a direct hire position requiring a commitment to a 3rd shift schedule, with initial training on 1st shift. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of quality and safety in our cleanroom environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Monitor compliance with HACCP and GMP standards, reporting any issues to management.

    + Test raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet required specifications.

    + Document and respond to food safety incidents by completing corrective action reports promptly.

    + Identify contamination risks and take action to isolate affected products by initiating product holds.

    + Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure ingredients and products meet company and regulatory standards.

    + Observe GMP compliance across the facility and report violations to the appropriate personnel.

    + Follow all company policies and regulatory procedures in daily tasks.

    + Collaborate with production teams to rework products when minor quality issues arise.

    + Perform daily formulation audits to ensure products meet specifications.

    + Collect and test samples for pathogens, allergens, ATP, sensory, and chemical analysis as needed.

    + Conduct sanitation audits before and during operations to ensure compliance.

    + Perform quality checks and formulation audits based on product requirements.

    + Lead food safety and GMP orientation sessions when needed.

    + Maintain professional conduct and ensure team members follow company values, ethics, and policies.

    Essential Skills

    + Intermediate proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    + Ability to read and understand technical documents.

    + Working knowledge of HACCP principles (HACCP certification preferred).

    + Comfortable working in varying temperature environments with a strong safety record.

    + Ability to learn and operate standard lab equipment.

    + Strong attention to detail with accurate daily documentation.

    + Experience investigating and documenting food safety incidents.

    + Clear written and verbal communication skills in English for reporting and documentation.

    + Ability to read and follow product specifications.

    + Basic math and communication skills, with solid interpersonal abilities.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in cleanroom settings and conducting audits.

    Work Environment

     

    This position operates on a 3rd shift schedule from 12 pm to 8 am, Monday through Friday, with initial training on 1st shift. The role involves working in varying temperature environments and requires adherence to strict safety and regulatory standards.
