    Entry Level 2nd Shift Assembler

     

    

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Assembler to join our team. This role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of mechanical assembly processes. You will work Monday through Thursday from 1:00 PM to 10:15 PM and Friday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and maintain equipment such as grinders, drill presses, hydraulic presses, and rivet machines.

    + Perform tasks like gapping, lugging, and stamping.

    + Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

    + Build sub-assemblies and perform other duties as assigned.

    + Use hand and power tools to assemble products.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and material lists to pull parts from storage bins.

    + Identify parts by description, drawings, and simple measurements.

    + Assemble repetitive, routine production switches.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in reading and understanding English.

    + Experience with mechanical assembly and use of hand and power tools.

    + Ability to read blueprints and perform tasks according to specifications.

    + Familiarity with equipment such as grinders, drill presses, and hydraulic presses.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with wiring, soldering, and electronic assembly is a plus.

    + Ability to perform inspection and work with microscopes.

    + Experience in packaging and working in a cleanroom environment.

    + Familiarity with ISO 9000 quality standards.

    You will work in a clean environment and be exposed to regular noise, dust, heat, cold, and odors. The role requires the ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
