Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist
Job Description
The CNC Lathe Machinist is responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines. The role involves maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities
+ Work on both CNC Mill and CNC Lathe machines including Mazak, Mazak Integrex, OKK, Haas, Okuma Lathe (1 and 3 spindle), and Mori Seiki.
+ Perform CNC machine set-ups and operate equipment to meet parts requirements using Mazatrol, G, and M Code.
+ Handle all tooling changeovers and adjustments.
+ Run and measure to close and exact tolerances.
+ Ensure productivity of CNC machines.
+ Make quality measurements, check dimensions, analyze data, and make adjustments to meet part specifications.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in setting up, operating, and running CNC Mill or CNC Lathe machines or a degree from RANKEN.
+ Experience in performing set-ups, tooling adjustments, quality control of parts, and troubleshooting machinery.
+ Understanding of GDNT symbols.
+ Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
+ Experience working with tight tolerances.
+ Ability to read programming in Mazatrol, G Code, and M Code.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Aerospace experience is preferred but not required.
+ Conversational programming skills.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled machine shop equipped with 19 CNC machining centers and 6 CNC turning centers, including Mazak Integrex. The facility also features Omax Waterjet and offers 3, 4, 5, and 9 axis capabilities, along with in-house EDM hole popping. Shifts include Monday-Thursday 6am-4pm (1st) and 3:30pm-2am (2nd) with a $2 shift differential, and weekend shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with a $2 shift differential for 1st and a $4 shift differential for 3rd. Training on day shifts is provided for several months.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
Monthly Manufacturing Performance Incentives with the opportunity to earn up to $550 per month.
