    Job Title: Warehouse Worker

     

    2nd shift | $17-19/hr | Davenport, IA

    Position Overview:

    Join our dynamic team in a newly expanded warehouse featuring cutting-edge machinery. We are seeking dedicated individuals to work in our polishing and warehouse operations. This role offers the opportunity to handle a niche product in a clean, family-like environment while ensuring our products meet the highest standards of clarity and quality.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Inspect glass surfaces for imperfections, scratches, or residue.

    + Polish and clean glass using appropriate tools, chemicals, and techniques.

    + Handle glass safely to prevent damage or injury.

    + Operate cutting and tempering machines for glass production.

    + Read order tickets to ensure glass is cut to specified measurements.

    + Load and unload glass from machines and vehicles.

    + Operate forklifts and overhead cranes for product handling.

    + Prepare glass for shipping and receiving processes.

    + Manually move glass windows between vertical and horizontal positions.

    + Handle glass units up to 75 lbs, with two-person lifts for heavier units.

    Essential Skills:

    + Experience in manufacturing or production environments.

    + Ability to consistently lift and handle glass safely.

    + Mechanical inclination (experience with hand and power tools).

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    + Forklift experience is advantageous but not required.

    + Overhead crane experience is a bonus (training available).

    + General labor experience involving heavy lifting.

    + Familiarity with manufacturing processes is beneficial.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
