    Job Title: HVAC Technician - Up to $45/hour

    Job Description

    As an HVAC Technician, you will competently install all equipment provided by the company, including but not limited to forced air natural gas, propane, and electric heat pumps in residential or commercial settings. You will also showcase advanced custom sheet metal fabrication skills, assist and train other technicians, and assess HVAC/R equipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Install HVAC equipment competently in residential or commercial settings.

    + Exhibit advanced custom sheet metal fabrication skills.

    + Assist and train install technicians as needed.

    + Assess HVAC/R equipment and maintain a broad knowledge base of system components.

    + Return to problematic callbacks or calls unable to be addressed by less experienced technicians.

    + Provide key technical support or procedural information to technicians when required.

    + Read and work from schematics.

    + Complete all necessary data entry into software.

    + Apply company sticker protocol and equipment information gathering procedure at each install.

    + Recommend additional products that could enhance customer comfort.

    + Collect payment from customers at job completion if applicable.

    + Send review requests upon job completion.

    + Program thermostats and thoroughly explain operation to customers.

    + Communicate outstandingly with customers and co-workers.

    + Ensure all functions of installation tech are done properly and assist as needed.

    + Perform a final check of all work and take pictures before leaving.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of HVAC experience.

    + 3+ years of installation experience.

    + 3+ years of sheet metal fabrication experience.

    + Proficiency in HVAC installation, service, and sheet metal fabrication.

    + Ability to read schematics.

    + Strong electrical, troubleshooting, mechanical, and repair skills.

    + Excellent customer service skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Must have EPA universal certification.

    Work Environment

     

    Work the 1st shift from 8 am to 4:30 pm, wearing steel-toed shoes and a company uniform. Additional hours and overtime may be necessary based on customer requirements.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Racine, WI.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
