    Job Title: Auto Body Estimator

    Job Description

    As an Auto Body Estimator, you will schedule and coordinate customer repairs and appointments with the Service Department and Office Manager. You will collaborate with the Service Manager, Shop Foreman, Office Manager, and Outside Sales representatives to manage incoming service workflow. Your role involves accurately obtaining and documenting all customer information and vehicle data, providing customer estimates for labor and parts, and ensuring quotes are completed after customer approval.

    Responsibilities

    + Schedule and coordinate customer repairs and appointments with relevant departments.

    + Collaborate with Service Manager, Shop Foreman, Office Manager, and Outside Sales on service workflow.

    + Obtain and document all necessary customer information and vehicle data accurately.

    + Provide customer estimates for labor and parts, finalizing quotes after customer and service department approval.

    + Interact with customers in a positive, respectful, and gracious manner.

    + Schedule service work and write service repair quotes and orders.

    + Coordinate customer repairs in an organized, professional manner.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in automotive service and parts.

    + Understanding of insurance claims and billing.

    + **Proficiency with CCC Software** and other estimating software.

    + Experience in a body shop environment.

    + Knowledge of diesel engines and repair.

    + Strong technical writing skills.

    + Customer service orientation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Auto body experience is required.

    + Experience with diesel engines is a plus.

    + Enjoys being part of a team and balances individual and team responsibilities.

    + Openness to others’ views and willingness to give and receive feedback.

    + Contributes to building a positive team spirit and supports team efforts.

    Work in a family-owned shop that is clean and welcoming. The position operates during the 1st Shift from 7 AM to 4:30 PM, offering a professional yet friendly environment.
