Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for running and producing parts on CNC Mills, modifying and editing basic programming needs, and working with M and G code. This role involves working with multi-axis machines, specifically 3 to 5 axis.
Responsibilities
+ Run CNC Machines, primarily mills.
+ Run and produce parts on a CNC Mill.
+ Modify and edit basic programming needs.
+ Work with M and G code with basic knowledge and experience.
+ Make basic modifications and editing to CNC programs.
+ Utilize multi-axis machines, preferably 4 and 5 axis.
Essential Skills
+ Experience operating CNC Machines, mainly mills.
+ Working knowledge and experience with G and M code.
+ Ability to make basic modifications and edits to CNC programs.
+ Experience with multi-axis machines, ideally 4 and 5 axis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Completion of a Machine Tool Technology degree/program from a trade school is considered.
+ Possession of personal basic tools is required; specific tools like scales and calipers will be provided.

Work Environment
The role is based in a large manufacturing plant with approximately 115 employees, predominantly skilled labor. The environment is collaborative, working closely with other machinists and reporting directly to supervisors. Steel-toed footwear is required, and all necessary tools will be provided.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BIRMINGHAM, AL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.99/hr.
