Warehouse Entry Specialist
Employees process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials. This role is physically demanding, requiring manual lifting, carrying, and arranging of boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting. The ability to lift and carry boxes ranging from 10-100lbs on a regular basis, without assistance, is essential. Employees must also safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces.
1st shift
Responsibilities
+ Stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods of time.
+ Work independently to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes over inclines, stairs, and varying walking surfaces.
+ Read and write in English.
+ Lift and move boxes, read labels, and process incoming and outgoing orders.
+ Use a proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes.
+ Operate a handheld scanner.
+ Balance on ladders.
+ Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs. without assistance for prolonged periods.
+ Load, operate, and move hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling aids.
+ Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
+ Manually load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks using material handling aids.
Essential Skills
+ 1+ year of warehouse experience required.
+ Experience with order selection.
+ Ability to frequently lift products and boxes.
+ Proficiency in picking and using RF scanners.
+ Material handling skills.
+ Unloading experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to be on feet all day and lift products consistently.
Work Environment
The facility is not temperature controlled, with large garage doors open throughout the day. Temperatures can range from 80-85 degrees in the summer to 60-65 in the winter. Fans and heaters are available to help regulate the temperature.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burnsville, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
