    Job Title: Material Handler

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler for an open position on the 2nd shift, from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. This role involves managing inventory, handling materials, and ensuring efficient production processes.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct daily inspection and maintenance of forklift equipment.

    + Work overtime as assigned.

    + Update location sheets, especially during system downtimes.

    + Locate materials into inventory per guidelines or location sheets.

    + Perform cycle counts and pull materials from inventory for work orders.

    + Return materials to inventory from completed work orders.

    + Issue materials according to departmental requests.

    + Load, unload, and relocate materials as required by Inventory, Production, Shipping, and Quality Control.

    Essential Skills

    + 6 months of previous forklift experience.

    + Valid lift truck license or ability to attain certification.

    + High school education or equivalent.

    + Ability to lift 35 lbs. on a continual basis.

    + Good communication skills and team-oriented.

    + Basic knowledge of inventory systems.

    + Ability to stand, walk, bend, or stoop during the entire shift.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Inspection and quality assurance experience.

    + Leadership and initiative.

    + Strong communication skills.

    + Attention to detail and testing.

    + Experience in lifting and material handling.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.09 - $21.60/hr.
