Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Assembler who can efficiently and accurately assemble components and materials in accordance with plans and specifications. The ideal candidate should be able to understand written and verbal instructions while following drawings and work instructions. Experience in carpentry, roofing, material handling, mechanical assembly, and maintaining a safe work environment through organization and housekeeping is essential.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble structural metal building panels in a manufacturing setting.
+ Operate hand and power tools proficiently.
+ Accurately use measuring devices such as squares and tape measures.
+ Participate in safe material handling and suspended load movements.
+ Follow instructions and execute assigned duties effectively.
+ Complete tasks within set timeframes to ensure goals are met.
+ Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
+ Perform all other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in sheet metal, blueprint reading, installation, repair, and fabrication.
+ Experience in construction, sheet metal fabrication, repair, assembly, installation, and cutting.
+ Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16th inch.
+ High school diploma, general education degree, or vocational degree.
+ 2+ years of experience with general trade skills for siding/roofing/metalworking or assembly.
+ Ability to select and properly operate the appropriate tools for tasks.
+ Skillful operation of non-specialized shop equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to read blueprints is highly advantageous.
+ Experience with small part/electrical assemblers and NAF-industrial assemblers preferred.
+ Positive attitude required; negative individuals will not be tolerated.
+ Must have knowledge about the company prior to interviewing.
+ Regularly required to have full mobility in the upper and lower body and be able to work in various positions such as stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, and squatting.
+ Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.
+ Ability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment, with the capacity to lift up to 70 pounds.

Work Environment
The work environment involves exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors in an open-air building. You will work in a team of 2-3 people, with work hours including overtime based on performance. The role requires the ability to work in various physical positions and handle tools and materials effectively.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
