    Machine Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated machine operators to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for operating one of our 20 presses, working in teams to place raw materials and ensure safe and efficient production processes. This role does not require prior machine operation or stamping press experience, but you should be comfortable working in a manufacturing setting.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate one of 20 presses in a metal stamping facility.

    + Work in teams of up to four to place raw material on the press.

    + Adhere to safety protocols by using sensors before operating presses.

    + Visually inspect parts and use gauges to ensure they meet specifications.

    + Support the production of metal products for the Automotive and Heavy Equipment industries.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in manufacturing environments.

    + Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.

    + **Proficiency with machine operation and general production tasks.**

    + Assembly and inspection skills.

    + Understanding of blueprints.

    + **Steady job history.**

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bluffton, IN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.48 - $19.48/hr.
