Job Title: Production and Assembly Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a **detail-oriented Production and Assembly Technician** to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality standards, interpreting blueprints, and performing essential computer-based tasks to support production operations. This position requires regular lifting and hands-on assembly work in a fast-paced, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

Shift Schedule & Pay

+ **1st Shift:** 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | **$17 – $18 per hour**

+ **2nd Shift:** 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM | **$18 – $19 per hour**

Responsibilities

+ Conduct thorough quality control checks on plates, identifying defects and verifying correct ports or orifices.

+ Accurately read and interpret blueprints to ensure proper assembly and production standards.

+ Perform computer-based tasks including pulling blueprints, checking inventory, and charging plate packs.

+ Charge units to the roster and maintain accurate production records.

+ Safely lift and handle items weighing up to 50 lbs on a routine basis.

Essential Skills

+ Proven experience in production and assembly processes.

+ Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.

+ Proficiency in basic computer functions for inventory management and blueprint access.

+ Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED required.

+ Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.

+ Mechanical assembly experience is strongly preferred.

+ Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

This position is based in a **climate-controlled manufacturing facility** , ensuring comfort and consistency throughout the year. Technicians work Monday through Friday on either first or second shift, with stable hours and a team-oriented atmosphere where mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills are highly valued.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
