Job Description
As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating production processes and equipment following established procedures and guidelines. You will supervise personnel in tasks such as blending, filling, securing, and labeling containers per company or customer specifications. Your role includes verifying packaged goods against production orders, making equipment adjustments when necessary, and reading and interpreting production orders and instructions. Competent English skills in both spoken and written forms are essential.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate production processes and equipment.
+ Supervise personnel in blending, filling, securing, and labeling containers.
+ Verify goods packaged against production orders and instructions.
+ Make adjustments to equipment as necessary.
+ Read and interpret production orders and instructions.
+ Record data as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Competent English skills in spoken and written forms.
+ Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production, batching, mixing, compounding, blending, and machine operation.
+ Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Good communication skills.
+ Ability to follow orders.
+ Manufacturing Experience
+ Completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in a relevant specialty.
+ Three years of experience in the field or a related area.

Work Environment
This position is within a chemical company where the environment can be hot, humid, and occasionally very dirty. You will be provided with steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and uniforms. The role is highly physical and involves working in the Liquid Department alongside 60 other employees.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florence, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
