Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated warehouse worker to assist with loading and unloading trucks, organizing products on shelves, and following order pick lists. The ideal candidate will show initiative and have the potential to progress into a warehouse lead or supervisor role. Occasionally, this position may also involve assisting with customer service at the city desk, requiring comfort in looking up parts using the computer system and becoming educated on various parts available. Forklift operation training will be provided upon permanent employment.
Responsibilities
+ Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
+ Organize products on shelves.
+ Follow order pick lists accurately.
+ Show initiative to potentially move into a lead or supervisory role.
+ Assist with customer service at the city desk as needed.
+ Look up parts on the computer system and become knowledgeable about different parts.
+ Receive training to operate forklifts once permanently employed.
Essential Skills
+ 1 year of warehouse experience.
+ Ability to maintain great attendance as verified by references.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with physical capability to lift up to 100 lbs.
+ Basic computer skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in HVAC and plumbing is a plus.
+ Strong inventory and customer service skills.
+ Experience in computer operations.

Work Environment
The position is set in a plumbing industry warehouse, involving physical tasks such as pulling and organizing products and parts. The role is not desk-based, but instead involves working behind a counter in a warehouse setting. The employee must be comfortable with standing for extended periods.

This is a Contract position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
