    Renewable Generation Project Data Intern

     

    WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Renewable Generation Project Data Intern in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This internship is full-time during the Summer of 2026. The hourly rate for this position is $20.30 with paid company holidays. This position offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time spent in the Milwaukee headquarters office.

    Job Summary

    We employ students for summer and year-round opportunities to help design creative cost effective systems and equipment that keep the energy flowing to our customers in a safe and reliable manner. WEC Energy Group offers a variety of engineering opportunities for students seeking hands-on experience that are currently enrolled in a four-year degree program. Students work with experienced members of these functional teams.

    Job Responsibilities

    Assist the WEC Energy Group Renewables Commercial team with renewable project(s) acquisition

     

    + Support renewable projects due diligence review (cross department review)

    + Support regulatory data request for filed renewable projects

    + Download and manage data rooms for renewable projects

    + Create reports for management on progress of renewable projects

    Minimum Qualifications

    + High School Diploma, GED, or HSED

    + Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Analytics, or closely related major with a graduation date after June 2026

    + Minimum GPA of 2.8

     

    End Date: 12/07/2025

     

    Pay Range Minimum: $22.00/hour

     

    Pay Range Maximum: $26.24/hour

     

    The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
