Job Description
We are looking for a **Machine Operator** to manage the safe and efficient operation of high-speed, large-scale automated assembly machines. This position will be **Full-Time** and **Onsite** Monday-Thursday: 4:30am-3:00pm and may have overtime on Fridays.
+ Responsible for the safe operation of assigned high-speed large-scale automated assembly machines
+ Make complex repairs and major adjustments to assembly equipment, including set-ups and changeovers
+ Perform quality checks per the Quality Inspection Plan (QIP) and document specified measurements per print at required intervals
+ Conduct daily/weekly/monthly preventive and routine machine maintenance
+ Perform tooling adjustments, such as sharpening/conditioning, checking height of spring-loaded pins, and adjusting bend stations or insertion stations
+ Replace components including sensors, punches, dies, stock components, air cylinders, and belts
+ Adjust housing feed based on associated standards
+ Use height indicators, ram optics, gauges, and microscopic visual checks
+ Identify and reset machine faults, clear jams, restart production, and remove and package finished products
What You’ll Need
Required:
+ Experience applying job skills and company policies, typically acquired through a combination of **1+ years of relevant on-the-job training and/or vocational training**
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to read facility signage, comprehend documentation, and communicate processes to maintain workplace safety and efficiency
Physical Demands
+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
+ Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person
+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the facility to attend meetings, operate machinery, etc

$19.50-$21.00 per hour
The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
