Position Overview

As an **RN Supervisor – Transfer Center** , you will lead daily nursing operations, collaborate with management, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards. This leadership role focuses on patient-centered care, staff development, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

+ Oversee daily administrative and clinical activities to ensure high-quality patient care.

+ Develop, revise, and implement department policies aligned with organizational goals.

+ Ensure compliance with hospital regulations and standards, including The Joint Commission.

+ Supervise and mentor staff: scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and issue resolution.

+ Support educational initiatives, research, and process improvement projects.

+ Apply Lean principles to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

+ Assist with annual staffing and budget planning, including capital equipment needs.

+ Communicate effectively with leadership, physicians, families, and other departments.

+ Conduct regular nursing rounds and provide direct patient care when necessary.

+ Maintain accurate records, inventory, and reporting databases.

Qualifications & Skills

+ Current RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain).

+ Strong knowledge of nursing standards, patient care procedures, and regulatory compliance.

+ Familiarity with medical terminology, medication administration, and ethical practices.

+ Excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills.

+ Ability to train, evaluate, and manage staff effectively.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
