What You'll Do
The Creative Intern will support the Global Creative Team across design, production, presentation, and day-to-day creative operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to build a strong portfolio in beauty, branding, and digital content.
You-ll collaborate with designers, copywriters, project managers, and the Global Creative Director to execute creative tasks and help keep workflows running smoothly.
This is a part-time paid internship.
FOCUS
+ Support digital + print design, packaging production work, PPT presentation design, and asset creation
+ Assist with packaging mockups, product comps, and hands-on review materials
+ Create and resize assets for PDPs, banners, emails, and social channels
Key Responsibilities:
+ Design digital assets including banners, PDP imagery, emails, reels/videos, and social graphics
+ Support production design for packaging, print, and digital, ensuring accuracy with brand guidelines
+ Assist in creating polished PPT presentations for internal reviews, leadership meetings, and creative pitches
+ Print, cut, mount, and assemble physical packaging comps and mockups for internal approvals
+ Help organize creative files and archive assets in Widen, Dropbox, and shared drives
+ Perform basic retouching, resizing, exporting, and versioning across channels
+ Support creative prep for campaign launches, product updates, and seasonal initiatives
+ Help organize supplies, printing proofs, and products in the creative space at the Dermalogica office
What You'll Bring
Key Qualifications:
+ Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
+ Strong foundation in design, layout, and typography
+ Portfolio showcasing digital, print, or packaging-related work **(student work welcome!)**
Key Skills and Abilities:
+ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
+ Experience creating clean, visually compelling PowerPoint presentations
+ Keen attention to detail and strong organizational ability
+ Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced creative environment
+ Comfortable with hands-on tasks including printing, assembling comps, and organizing assets
+ Interest in beauty, skincare, or wellness
Bonus Skills:
+ Motion design + basic video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro)
+ AI image generation for concept boards, mood boards, and reference creation
+ Experience in simple animations or social-first motion templates, GIFs, etc.

**The expected base hourly pay rate is $18.50.** The exact base pay rate is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.
