Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator
Job Description
The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll using Paylocity. This role involves maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with tax laws and labor regulations, and serving as a liaison between HR and Finance departments.
Responsibilities
+ Process payroll in Paylocity accurately and on schedule for all employees, including hourly, salaried, and contractors.
+ Verify timesheets, hours worked, and pay changes; ensure deductions and benefits are correctly applied in Paylocity.
+ Maintain payroll records and employee information such as tax details, payment methods, and leave balances within Paylocity.
+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and employment standards.
+ Prepare and distribute payroll reports from Paylocity for management and audits.
+ Handle payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries promptly.
+ Coordinate with HR on benefits, deductions, and time-off accruals.
+ Prepare tax forms (e.g., W-2, 1099) and ensure timely submission through Paylocity.
+ Stay updated on payroll regulations and Paylocity system updates.
Essential Skills
+ Strong knowledge of Paylocity payroll system and tax regulations.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools within Paylocity.
+ Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
+ Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
+ Strong communication skills for employee and cross-department interactions.

+ Data entry, onboarding, administrative support, recruiting, payroll, HR administration, clerical, Microsoft Office, HR support, HR systems, administration, filing, HRIS, Outlook, Microsoft Excel, recruitment, service, administrative assistance, benefits administration.
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or HR preferred.
+ 2+ years of payroll experience or related finance/HR experience.
Work Environment
The position is full-time, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM or 10 AM to 7 PM. Flexibility to come in early is required if needed.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sanger, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
