• Buyer III

    Aston Carter (Bellevue, WA)


    The Buyer III will play a pivotal role in assisting the Buying Team to expand our selection by setting up new vendors and items, maintaining the product catalog, and managing pricing. The role requires coordination of new product launches, maintaining product cost, retail pricing, content, and images, as well as fostering vendor relations. Additionally, the Buyer III will support and train as a backup for control processes while engaging in special projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in expanding selection by setting up new vendors and items.

    + Maintain the product catalog and manage pricing.

    + Coordinate new product launches.

    + Maintain product cost, retail price, content, and images.

    + Develop and manage vendor relationships.

    + Participate in special projects as needed.

    + Support and train as a backup for control processes.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience in Procurement or Buyer roles.

    + Bachelor's Degree is required.

    + Strong communication skills.

    + Self-motivated and detail-oriented.

    + Proficient in Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience in sourcing and production.

    + Understanding of data management and databases is a plus.

    Work Environment

    Work hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, on-site in Bellevue, WA. The role is part of the Procurement team, where collaboration, engagement, and development are emphasized. The environment is demanding yet collegial, with teamwork being essential.

    This is a Contract position based out of Bellevue, WA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $43.00/hr.
