As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Bank organization, you will play a crucial role as part of an agile team dedicated to enhancing, building, and delivering trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner.

Job responsibilities

+ Partners with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and define future strategies for architecture and application development

+ Collaborates with stakeholders to onboard new marketing tools, guiding them through firmwide onboarding processes to enhance user engagement

+ Translates business and functional requirements into technical designs aligned with enterprise-level architecture standards

+ Develops and maintains Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components to support high-availability, high-traffic sites

+ Diagnoses, debugs, and resolves technical issues related to CMS implementation and complex system integrations

+ Collaborates with cross-functional technical teams on application deployment, performance optimization, monitoring, reliability, and scalability

+ Design and develop reusable templates, components, and services in partnership with technology, product, and business teams

+ Builds and optimizes web user interfaces using AEM and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React), ensuring cross-browser/platform compatibility and speed

+ Works closely with design, business analysis, project management, and content teams to ensure technical feasibility, design quality, and timely delivery of web assets

+ Supports global teams across time zones and collaborate on A/B testing, requirements definition, and cross-platform design initiatives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

+ Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience

+ Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability

+ **Hands-on coding experience in Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs**

+ Experience with **Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)** architecture, components, templates, and workflows

+ Demonstrated knowledge of architecture and design across all systems

+ Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods

+ Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle

+ Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security

+ Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

+ In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

+ Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices

+ Strong understanding of SEO, web analytics, and performance optimization
