Overview
Security has become our top priority in a world facing evolving digital threats and increasing regulatory requirements. We accelerate Microsoft’s broader mission by securing our platforms, products, and cloud services across internal and external ecosystems. Microsoft runs on trust. As our lives and businesses are becoming increasingly digitized, trust is the glue that holds us together. To create and enhance this trust, we increasingly turn to advanced technologies to anticipate and prevent risks. Our work helps Microsoft grow its trustworthy ecosystem, while proactively protecting individuals and organizations across the planet. Fraud, corruption, theft, and human rights violations are complex threats that are often intertwined with cybersecurity risks. Our platform offers an array of services that help us tackle these problems, and your skills can help us continuously evolve them. In this role, you will deliver innovation to every corner of the company, doing work that really matters. We are the Central Fraud and Abuse Risk (CFAR) team, driven to prevent and detect fraud and service abuse through innovative technology informed by risk intelligence. Our work is highly technical and amplified by AI and troves of labeled data that draw from the expertise of a highly talented group of anti-fraud professionals. We design and deliver resilient, scalable, AI-first services to protect Microsoft and its customers and partners. Our services set industry standards in several areas, and we do this through building, buying, or integrating best-in-class technologies and datasets that support a flexible, scalable platform that boosts both automated and human decision-making. Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Our team members embody this mission by innovating, supporting one another, and collaborating effectively to accomplish shared goals while modeling our shared values (respect, integrity, and accountability) in how we work. We are committed to sustaining a culture where everyone can thrive and do their best work.
