AVP, Trust Operations - Account Specialist
Job Description:
Summary
This position works closely and assists the Wealth Advisors, Administrators and Administrative staff in providing support and timely completion of responsibilities that ensures customer satisfaction. This includes opening and closing accounts, disbursements, and deposits. Serves as a liaison between Planning Specialists, Wealth Advisors, Trust Officers, Client Service Assistants, and Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Works closely with the Wealth Advisors, Trust Officers, and the Portfolio Managers to facilitate seamless client relationship management including opening and closing client accounts.
• Maintains account maintenance (e.g. change of administrator, investment changes, etc.)
• Process incoming and outgoing transfer positions in customer accounts in an accurate and timely manner.
• Review and analyze financial data to calculate and compile information needed to maintain cost on individual security tax lots within each account.
• Processes the Date of Death valuations for accounts.
• Maintain original document vault for Wealth Management.
• Responsible for sending out stock gifts
• Responsible for turning on and off fees, transfer fees, and fee chaining accounts.
• Performs other duties as required.

• Must maintain confidentiality of client transactions and financial records
• Good phone voice with professional and well-groomed appearance
• Ability to operate standard office equipment, such as, computer work stations, typewriters, calculators, and copier
• Thorough knowledge of trust procedures, bank operations, products and services offered at the bank
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• None
Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 3 years of Trust Operations experience in a financial services environment
Computer and Software Skills:
• Skilled in operation of a personal computer, including Microsoft Office
• Salesforce
• Fidelity Wealthscape
• Google
