NOTE: This position will be based full time out of our Corvallis, OR office.
POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Manager, Plant Services, the E2 Program Manager will oversee E2 center projects from inception and initial customer interactions, through project development, implementation, and maintaining service and continued customer support.
This position works cross functionally with various NuScale departments such as business development, finance, project support, IT, and QA among others, Additionally the E2 Program Manager is the primary customer point of contact for all customer inquiries and technical support. This includes acting as the project manager for each customer project (managing deadlines, controlling scope, assigning roles, monitoring progress, reporting status).
The E2 Program Manager engages with new potential customers using a business plan that prioritizes customer interactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Work with business development to engage customers, provide work estimates, develop statements of work, and provide input to customer contracts.
+ Act as the project manager to transition signed customer contracts into internal projects. Project manager duties include coordination of work with the customer, directing internal work scope to support customer contract, reporting and trending of project metrics.
+ Provide customer support which includes technical information on NuScale design while being sensitive to appropriate level of detail. Inputs to website, user groups, and other customer facing service tools.
+ Set up thin clients and manage virtual machines in a customer facing production environment. Working with IT as needed to ensure appropriate hardware resources are available to continue E2 service.
+ Travel to domestic or international customer locations as needed to support installation and initial training for new E2 centers.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES :
+ Education/Certification : A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field is required. Project management experience preferred.
+ Experience : A minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in Computer Science, Engineering or have a high level NuScale system knowledge is required. Additional required skills and/or experience include:
+ Ability to learn contract procedures and provide input to statements of work and estimate costs.
+ Manage a project from inception to completion following existing processes.
+ Ability to learn how to set up thin clients and manage simulator equipment in a production environment.
+ Knowledgeable of ISO-9001
+ US commercial nuclear power experience or NuScale operational knowledge is highly desired. E2 installation includes training and presentations to stakeholders.
+ Industry Requirements : Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.

+ Ability to travel both domestically and internationally to support E2 Center customer installations. Expect 20% travel per year.
