    Summary You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the INFORMATION ASSURANCE DIVISION of FLTREADCEN EAST. Responsibilities You will develop, implement, and execute Information Assurance (IA) policies, processes, and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility. You will promote IA educational materials and programs. You will gather, analyze, and preserve evidence of information system misuse or crimes. You will analyze IA security events to determine impacts and/or required corrective actions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications FOR THE GS-7 LEVEL Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1( Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems, including basic configuration, user account management, and system troubleshooting; 2) Ability to apply basic cybersecurity practices, including patch management, user access controls, and adherence to system security policies; 3) Skill in using command-line tools and basic scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) to automate routine administrative tasks; 4) Knowledge of fundamental networking concepts such as IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and subnetting; 5) Ability to install, configure, and manage local and networked printers, including driver installation, print queue management, and basic troubleshooting. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. FOR THE GS-5 LEVEL Your resume must demonstrate 3 years of progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least GS-4, that demonstrates the ability to 1) Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2) Plan and organize work; and 3) Communicate effectively orally and in writing. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
